“Dear Hate” moves to #1 on the all-genre iTunes chart.

In the wake of the Vegas shooting, Maren Morris released a new song entitled “Dear Hate (featuring Vince Gill).”

Wednesday, that song reached #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

“Wow. Utterly speechless,” Tweeted Morris upon learning it reached the chart’s pinnacle. “Thank you so, so much. #PrayersForVegas.”

Proceeds from the track will be donated to the Music City Cares Fund.

Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” (#2), Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin” (#3), Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” (#4), and Post Malone’s “rockstar (featuring 21 Savage)” (#5) form the balance of the Top 5 on US iTunes.
