Shania Twain’s “Now” Pacing For #1 Debut With 120-130K US Sales

“Now” is poised to debut atop the Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.

Barring a surprise release or massive shift in trajectory, Shania Twain’s “Now” should debut comfortably atop the coming week’s Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.

Based on opening day sales data, Hits Daily Double expects Shania Twain’s “Now” to sell 120-130,000 pure US copies this week.

“Now” will only receive a small boost from TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500); Hits anticipates a first-week consumption tally (sales + TEA + SEA) in the 121-132,000 range.

The pure sales figure should comfortably earn “Now” the #1 spot on Top Album Sales. The consumption figure will net a #1 debut on the Billboard 200.

“Now” is the long-awaited follow-up to 2002’s “Up!,” which also debuted at #1 in the US.
