Early projections have Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me” taking second place on the weekly US sales and consumption charts.
Based on opening day data, Hits expects Lovato’s new album to sell 45-55K pure US copies this week.
The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) should yield a consumption tally in the 68-78,000 range.
The pure sales figure should be enough for #2 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart, while the consumption figure should make “Tell Me You Love Me” the runner-up on the Billboard 200.
Shania Twain’s “Now” is expected to comfortably top both charts.
“Tell Me You Love Me” is the follow-up to Lovato’s “Confident,” which debuted with 77K pure US sales and 98K total units.
