Bella Thorne Comments On Naked, Unretouched Photo For GQ Mexico

“I have insecurities, about pretty much everything,” says Thorne. “That’s natural & that’s human.”

Bella Thorne recently took part in a cover shoot for GQ Mexico.

The photos emerged Thursday, and the actress/model/singer looks utterly breathtaking.

In addition to sharing the cover, Bella Thorne posted one of the set’s most striking photos on her Instagram.

The photos features Thorne sitting in a chair — wearing nothing but heels.

Thorne supplemented the image with a lengthy caption. The caption reveals that Thorne specifically asked GQ not to retouch the shot. It also includes commentary about embracing imperfection.

“I specifically asked for no re touching on this photo, and lemme tell you I have insecurities, about pretty much everything,” wrote Thorne. “That’s natural & that’s human.

“You might look at this photo and think oh shush bella, but just know everytime someone looks in the mirror they simply don’t see what everyone else sees. Know that it’s completely normal to feel insecure and it’s accepted. honestly I wish everyone talked more about their insecurities so more people in the world could know they aren’t alone.”

Thorne continues by noting that celebrities generally expect “small retouching” on their magazine photos. She attributes this to a fear of imperfection.

“Usually most people don’t want the public trashing [for their imperfections] and I get it,” adds Thorne. “But fuck it I’m here to tell you that’s right I’m not FUCKING PERFECT.

“IM A HUMAN BEING AND IM REAL. So hip hop your asses over the fence and GET OVER IT.”
