Ratings: FX’s “American Horror Story: Cult” Dips In Week Four

Live+same-day viewership was down – but not significantly – for week four of “AHS: Cult.”

Live+same-day ratings have been revealed for episode four of “American Horror Story: Cult,” and the high level narrative mirrors last week’s story.

The episode was down slightly from the previous broadcast but still ranked as cable’s #1 Tuesday original in adults 18-49.

According to L+SD data posted by Showbuzz, this week’s episode drew a 1.06 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 2.13 million overall viewers. Last week’s episode drew a 1.15 rating and 2.25 million viewers.

“Cult,” as noted, maintained its standing as cable’s top-rated Tuesday original in adults 18-49.

Across all of television, it ranked as the #2 10PM original. Only NBC’s “Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders” fared better in the demo (1.6).

— In addition to drawing solid live+same-day ratings, “AHS: Cult” receives big lifts from DVR and multi-platform viewing.

Those factors matter greatly to FX, which has confirmed a preference for overall viewership data (as opposed to linear, live+same-day numbers).
