“Veep” Again Wins Emmy For Outstanding Comedy Series

“Veep” wins a third consecutive Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy.

“Veep” did not win for Outstanding Directing or Writing at Sunday’s 69th Primetime Emmy Awards. “Atlanta” took home the trophy for the former, while “Master Of None” picked up the writing award.

“Veep” did, however, win the most important award for comedy shows: Outstanding Comedy Series.

The HBO series is celebrating a third consecutive victory in the category.

In addition to the aforementioned “Atlanta” and “Master Of None,” other Comedy Series nominees included “black-ish,” “Modern Family,” “Silicon Valley,” and “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.”
