“It” Blasts Past $200 Million, Remains A Dominant #1 At US Weekend Box Office

“It” reaches nearly $220 million in cumulative US earnings.

“It” predictably remains a dominant #1 at the US weekend box office.

The film, which debuted at #1 last weekend, tops this weekend’s chart with another $60.0 million in estimated receipts.

Its cumulative total now stands at roughly $218.7 million.

“American Assassin” and “mother!,” the weekend’s major new releases, respectively follow at #2 and #3. “American Assassin” earned $14.8 million, while “mother!” took home $7.5 million.

“Home Again” falls two places to #4 with $5.3 million (cume now $17.1 million), while “The Hitman’s Bodyguard” drops two spots to #5 with $3.6 million ($70.4 million).
