Alec Baldwin played President Donald Trump during one of the buzziest, most-watched “Saturday Night Live” seasons in recent memory.
His turn, unsurprisingly, yielded an Emmy Award.
Baldwin won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards.
The award specifically honors his work in the episode hosted by Melissa McCarthy.
He beat out Louie Anderson, Titus Burgess, Ty Burrell, Ton Hale and Matt Walsh for the trophy.
