Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” Enters Top 5 On US iTunes Sales Chart

“Thunder” benefits from exposure during the Patriots-Chiefs game.

Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” was #10 on the US iTunes sales chart when the Patriots vs. Chiefs game began.

By the time the game entered the fourth quarter, it was in the Top 5 on the listing.

The “Evolve” single is #5 on the chart as of press time at 11:40PM ET. Only Taylor Swift’s “…Ready For It?” (#1), Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” (#2), ZAYN’s “Dusk Till Dawn (featuring Sia)” (#3) and Logic’s “1-800-273-8255 (featuring Alessia Cara & Khalid)” (#4) are selling at a faster pace.

“Thunder” appears in a Microsoft Surface commercial that aired during the game. Combined with a discounted iTunes price point, that high-profile exposure fueled the iTunes jump.
