Taylor Swift’s “Ready For It” Debuted, Received Radio Airplay On Sunday

iHeartRadio started playing the song Sunday morning.

Update: Taylor Swift’s “…Ready For It?,” which was first teased during Saturday night’s Alabama-Florida State college football game, officially launched on digital platforms Sunday.

It also received some radio airplay.

The airplay, it should be noted, was strictly tied to excitement over a new release from Taylor Swift. “Look What You Made Me Do” remains Taylor Swift’s official radio single.

The two songs will appear on Swift’s forthcoming album “reputation.”

A montage for Saturday night’s Alabama vs. Florida State college football game featured a Taylor Swift song.

The song was not her new single “Look What Made Me Do.”

It was instead “Ready For It,” another track set to appear on Swift’s forthcoming album “Reputation.” In addition to scoring the college football montage, “Ready For It” appears in a commercial for ABC’s fall schedule.

“Ready For It” will continue to receive attention Sunday.  According to the official iHeart website, mainstream iHeartMedia stations will begin playing the song at 8AM ET Sunday morning.

“‘Ready For It'” isn’t an follow-up official second single to “Look” but the track is set to invade radio airwaves as iHeartRadio stations will start playing the song on Sunday morning starting at 8 AM ET,” clarifies iHeart.

“Look” has been receiving mammoth airplay since its launch last week.  It is expected to claim a Top 10 position on this week’s Mediabase pop chart.
