Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” Breaks Record For Pop Radio Adds

“Look What You Made Me Do” breaks the record set by Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling.”

In the summer of 2015, Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” established a record for the greatest single-week add count reported in Mediabase Top 40/Pop Radio history. It landed at 178 stations in conjunction with its official impact.

Last year, Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” broke that record. It received 186 impact week adds at pop radio.

This week, Taylor Swift reclaims the record.

“Look What You Made Me Do,” the lead single from her forthcoming “Reputation,” won support from 187 Mediabase-monitored pop stations. That count reflects the entire Mediabase pop panel.

(Worth noting: At the time “Can’t Stop The Feeling” impacted, the pop panel only consisted of 186 stations)

Insofar as it set the all-time record, “Look What You Made Me Do” obviously ranks as the week’s most added song.

Justin Bieber & BloodPop’s “Friends,” which takes second place on the add board, landed at 43 new stations.

Halsey’s “Bad At Love” takes third place with 33 adds, while an add count of 28 positions Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still” in fourth place.

Picked up by 23 stations, Dua Lipa’s “New Rules” ranks as fifth-most added.

This week’s other notable pop radio options: PRETTYMUCH’s “Would You Mind” (17 adds, 6th-most), Blackbear’s “Do Re Mi (15 adds, 7th-most, tie), Sabrina Carpenter’s “Why” (15 adds, 7th-most, tie), The Script’s “Rain” (14 adds, 9th-most), Logic’s “1-800-273-8255 (featuring Alessia Cara & Khalid)” (12 adds, 10th-most, tie), Miley Cyrus’ “Younger Now” (12 adds, 10th-most, tie), P!nk’s “What About Us” (12 adds, 10th-most, tie), and Why Don’t We’s “Something Different” (12 adds, 10th-most, tie).
