Midland’s “Drinkin’ Problem” Officially Reaches #1 At Country Radio

Midland’s debut single tops this week’s Mediabase country radio chart.

Midland’s debut single “Drinkin’ Problem” completes its run to the top of the country radio mountain.

Up three places, “Drinkin’ Problem” earns #1 on this week’s Mediabase country radio singles chart.

It seizes the throne from Justin Moore’s “Someone Else Will,” which falls to #6 after a single week on top.

Not simply the leader in chart points, “Drinkin’ Problem” was also the Mediabase country panel’s most-played song for the August 20-26 tracking week. It received 8,565 spins (+1,024).

It was only #3, however, for audience impressions. Its weekly count of 54.993 million trails the 56.584 million figure posted by Old Dominion’s “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart” and 55.555 million mark achieved by Dustin Lynch’s “Small Town Boy.”

Those two songs hold at #2 and #3, respectively, on the overall Mediabase chart.

Lady Antebellum’s “You Look Good” rises one spot to #4, while Jon Pardi’s “Heartache On The Dance Floor” jumps two spots to #5.
