Kesha’s “Rainbow” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart

The new Kesha album predictably rockets to #1 on iTunes.

The clean and explicit versions of Kesha’s “Rainbow” launched on the US iTunes store late Thursday night.

The explicit version quickly — and predictably — shot to #1 on the all-genre album sales chart. It holds that position as of press time at 1:15AM ET.

The clean version is also resonating with buyers; it is #4 on the listing as of press time.

Lindsay Ell’s new “The Project” (#2) and dodie’s new “You” EP (#3) occupy the spaces in between. Moneybagg Yo’s “Federal 3X” directly follows the clean “Rainbow” album at #5.

Glen Campbell’s “20 Greatest Hits” (#6), Jesus Culture’s new “Love Has A Name” (#7), Brett Eldredge’s “Brett Eldredge” (#8), Avicii’s just-launched “AVICI (01)” EP (#9), and NOW 63 (#10) form the balance of the Top 10.
