Brett Eldredge’s New Album Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart

New releases claim the Top 6 spots on the US iTunes Sales Chart.

Brett Eldredge’s self-titled album debuted on the US iTunes store late Thursday night.

It quickly shot to #1 on the all-genre sales chart, and it remains there as of 2:35AM ET Friday.

New releases also claim the chart’s next five slots. Andy Mineo & Wordsplayed’s “Andy Mineo & Wordsplayed Present Magic & Bird” is #2, while Wage War’s “Deadweight” is #3.

Dylan Scott’s self-titled album and Tyler Childers’ “Purgatory” follow at #4 and #5, respectively. The new NOW 63 is #6.

The “Descendants 2” soundtrack, the first holdover on the chart, occupies #7 on the listing. Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band’s new “Lay It On Down” (#8), Jay-Z’s “4:44” (#9) and Imagine Dragons’ “Evolve” (#10) complete the Top 10.
