Ratings: “Descendants 2” Draws 8.6 Million Live+3 Viewers On Disney Channel

Disney Channel shares more good news regarding Friday’s “Descendants 2” premiere.

The Disney Channel version of “Descendants 2” averaged 5.33 million live+same-day viewers.

With three days of DVR viewing included, the number swells to nearly 8.6 million.

Disney Channel touts that Friday’s premiere broadcast drew 8.575 million live+3 viewers.

In addition to drawing a sizable overall audience, the Disney Channel edition of “Descendants 2” fared very well in the network’s key youth demographics.

On a live+3 basis, Friday’s broadcast drew 3.93 million kids 2-11, 3.06 million kids 6-11, 2.84 million tweens 9-14, and 2.45 million adults 18-49.

Along with Disney Channel, Friday’s “Descendants 2” premiere was simulcast on ABC, Disney XD, Freeform, Lifetime and Lifetime Movies. L+3 numbers for those broadcasts were not available at press time.
