In a Friday afternoon Tweet, Demi Lovato praised Selena Gomez’ new song “Fetish.”

She declared that she is “loving” Gomez’ new release. She also cracked about the two coming a long way from their days on “Barney.”

Later Friday, Gomez reciprocated the praise

“Yes we have [come a long way from “Barney”],” wrote Gomez. “Just listening to Sorry Not Sorry! You slay as always. So happy for you!”

This Tuesday, Demi Lovato released her new single “Sorry Not Sorry.”

Two days later, Selena Gomez debuted her Gucci Mane collaboration “Fetish.”

In a Friday afternoon Tweet, Demi Lovato shared love for her fellow “Barney & Friends” alumna’s song.

“Loving your new song Fetish,” wrote Lovato. “We’ve come a long way since our Barney days.”

The Tweet is predictably making huge waves; it received over 16,000 re-Tweets in its first twenty-five minutes.

“Fetish” is currently the #1 song on the US iTunes sales chart. “Sorry Not Sorry” is #3.
