Selena Gomez & Gucci Mane’s “Fetish” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart

“Fetish” rises to #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

Update: Selena Gomez’ new song “Fetish (featuring Gucci Mane)” launched late Wednesday night.

By early Thursday afternoon, it had reached #1 on the US iTunes sales chart. There it sits as of 1:50PM EDT.

In reaching #1, “Fetish” accomplishes something Gomez’ previous release — and official radio single — “Bad Liar” has not yet achieved. “Bad Liar” peaked at #2 upon release.

Because the market conditions are not identical, the comparison is not entirely fair. The observation is still interesting nonetheless.

US music buyers are showing an early thirst for Selena Gomez’ new song “Fetish (featuring Gucci Mane).”

The song, which launched late Wednesday night, was near the chart’s pinnacle by early Thursday morning.

It is #3 as of press time at 9:15AM EDT.

Only Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito (featuring Justin Bieber)” (#1) and Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” (#2) are currently selling at a faster pace.

“Fetish” is one of two Gomez tracks in the store’s Top 20. “Bad Liar,” her current radio single, is #19.
