Stone Sour’s “Hydrograd” Wins US Sales Race, But DJ Khaled’s “Grateful” Stays #1 On Billboard 200

“Grateful” received a much bigger lift from track sales and streams.

The weekly US album sales race again ends with a split-chart scenario.

Stone Sour’s “Hydrograd” claims the top spot on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart, while DJ Khaled’s “Grateful” spends a second week at #1 on the Billboard 200.

“Hydrograd” tops the former thanks to what Billboard reports as 30,000 pure US album sales.

With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, “Hydrograd” generated 33,000 in total first-week consumption units. The figure is only enough for #7 on the consumption-oriented Billboard 200 chart.

DJ Khaled’s “Grateful” tops that listing with 70,000 US units. About 16,000 units came from pure sales, with the rest credited to track sales and streams.

Calvin Harris’ new “Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 1” debuts at #2 with 68,000 units (23,000 from pure sales).

Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN.” (56,000 units, #3), Imagine Dragons’ “Evolve” (44,000 units, #4) and Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” (38,000 units, #5) complete the Top 5 of the Billboard 200.
