No, ABC’s “Boy Band” did not suddenly become a strong ratings performer this week.
It did, however, post week-over-week gains in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.
According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s “Boy Band” drew a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 2.82 million overall viewers. The numbers top the 0.5 rating and 2.65 million viewer mark drawn last week.
While “Boy Band” drew an increased audience, fellow ABC Thursday series “Battle Of The Network Stars” and “The Gong Show” suffered losses.
“Battle Of The Network Stars” drew a 0.7 rating and 3.01 million viewers in the 9PM hour. Last week’s premiere scored a 1.0 rating and drew 4.14 million viewers.
10PM series “The Gong Show” posted a 0.7 and 3.04 million this week. The previous episode managed a 0.9 and 3.48 million.
