Childish Gambino’s “Redbone” Headed For #1 At Rhythmic Radio

“Redbone” is expected to top this week’s rhythmic chart.

Childish Gambino’s “Redbone” will likely reach #1 on this week’s Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.

“Redbone” received 3,405 spins during the first four days of the July 2-8 tracking week. Up 2.9% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Redbone” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.

The platinum-certified track has a very strong chance of retaining its #1 position through the close of tracking.

While not distantly far behind, Kendrick Lamar’s building #2 “HUMBLE.” (3,334, -1.5%) and DJ Khaled’s building #3 “I’m The One” (3,289, -5.6%) are both fading. “Redbone” should thus widen its lead over those songs as the tracking week approaches its conclusion.

French Montana’s building #4 “Unforgettable” (2,963, +13.1%) is gaining at a more rapid pace than “Redbone,” but it will doubtfully close the gap this week.

“Redbone” will be Childish Gambino’s first rhythmic radio #1.
