Imagine Dragons’ “Evolve” predictably dominated the US album sales race.
DJ Khaled’s “Grateful,” meanwhile, earned a narrow victory in the overall consumption battle.
According to Billboard, “Evolve” sold 109K pure US copies during the June 23-29 tracking week. The count is enough for a clear #1 on Top Album Sales.
With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, “Evolve” generated 147K in overall consumption units. The tally is enough for #2 on the Billboard 200.
“Grateful,” which moved 149K total units (but only 50K from sales), takes #1 on that chart.
