“Star Trek: Discovery” Premiere Confirmed For September 24

The opener will air on CBS TV: all subsequent episodes will be released exclusively on All Access.

CBS has finally set a premiere date for its eagerly anticipated new “Star Trek” series.

According to the network, “Star Trek: Discovery” will premiere at 8:30PM ET/PT on Sunday, September 24.

The episode will air on the CBS television network.

Following the TV broadcast, CBS will make that episode — and the second episode — available for streaming on the CBS All Access streaming service.

Subsequent episodes will be released each Sunday night, exclusively on All Access.

The 15-episode first season will be divided into two chapters. The first set of episodes will air between 9/24 and 11/5, while the second wave will begin in January 2018.
