As she launches her new single “Legends,” Kelsea Ballerini can celebrate a new achievement for her previous single “Yeah Boy.”
The song, which was the final radio single from Ballerini’s debut album “The First Time,” went gold in the United States on May 31, 2017.
The certification confirms 500,000 in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
A Top 3 hit at country radio, “Yeah Boy” peaked at #65 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.
— All four radio singles from Ballerini’s debut album now hold RIAA certifications. Second single “Dibs” is also gold, while lead single “Love Me Like You Mean It” and third single “Peter Pan” are platinum.
