Update: Earlier this month, NBC announced that “This Is Us” would be moving to Thursday nights this fall.
Tuesday, NBC reversed its decision. It decided to keep the show in the Tuesday at 9PM timeslot where it became a massive hit.
Comedies “Superstore” and “The Good Place,” which were originally set to air on Tuesday nights, will now be part of a two-hour Thursday comedy lineup. They will air at 8PM and 8:30PM, respectively, while “Will & Grace” (9PM) and “Great News” (9:30PM) will air in the second hour.
NBC also made another shift. “Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders,” which was originally set to air after “This Is Us” on Thursdays, will now air in the 10PM slot on Tuesday night. “Chicago Fire,” which has long occupied the Tuesday at 10PM slot, will shift to Thursday at 10.
