Kelly Clarkson Will Coach On “The Voice” Season 14; Adam Levine, Blake Shelton Also Confirmed

NBC has confirmed three of the four coaches for season fourteen of “The Voice.”

Wednesday, NBC confirmed that Jennifer Hudson will appear as a coach on season thirteen of “The Voice.”

Thursday, NBC confirmed that a different “American Idol” alumna will join the show in season fourteen.

According to NBC, Kelly Clarkson will appear as a coach in the fourteenth season, which will air in the spring of 2018.

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are also confirmed for season fourteen; a fourth coach will be announced at a later date.

“I’m so excited to join ‘The Voice’ at NBC,” Clarkson said. “We’ve gone back and forth about a role as a coach for years, but the timing hasn’t been right until now. I have always loved appearing on the show as an adviser or performer and established an amazing relationship with the network during my Christmas special. I can’t wait to turn my chair and see the faces of up-and-coming artists and provide them with the help and support they’ve needed to break into the industry. Watch out Shelton, I’m comin’ to win!!”

Season twelve of “The Voice,” which features Levine, Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys as coaches, ends this month.

Season thirteen will premiere in September 2017; Levine, Shelton, Hudson and Miley Cyrus are the confirmed coaches.
