Netflix’s “13 Reasons Why” Renewed For 13-Episode Second Season

The new season will premiere in 2018.

To the surprise of no one, Netflix has renewed “13 Reasons Why” for a second season.

News of the renewal was first announced on the show’s official Twitter account. Executive producer Selena Gomez also shared the news on her Instagram.

The thirteen-episode season will pick up in the aftermath of Hannah’s death and focus on “the characters’ complicated journeys toward healing and recovery.” It is due to premiere in 2018.

“13 Reasons Why” fans will have a chance to see the cast members on traditional television in the coming days. Many cast members are scheduled to appear at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards. Headline Planet also broke the news that star Katherine Langford will be an interview guest on Friday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
