Ratings: “The Leftovers” Rises This Week, “Silicon Valley,” “Veep” Fall

HBO’s “The Leftovers” rose this week, but comedies “Silicon Valley” and “Veep” endured losses.

Sunday’s “Leftovers” posted gains in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

“Silicon Valley” and “Veep,” on the other hand, posted losses in both columns.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “The Leftovers” drew a 0.36 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.85 million overall viewers.

Last week’s episode drew a 0.34 in the demo and 0.78 million in viewership.

Clearly hurt by the loss of its “Game Of Thrones” lead-in, “Silicon Valley” again set series lows.

Down from the series low numbers posted by last week’s season four premiere (0.44, 0.87 million), this week’s episode drew a 0.39 in adults 18-49 and averaged 0.76 million overall viewers.

“Veep” followed with a 0.22 rating and 0.54 million, series low numbers that trail the 0.27 rating and 0.63 million viewer mark drawn last week.
