Disney Channel’s 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards broadcast does not air until Sunday night at 7PM EDT, but it is being taped Saturday.
Camila Cabello was one of the early award recipients at the show.
“Bad Things,” Cabello’s chart-topping song with Machine Gun Kelly, won for Best Mash-Up/Collaboration. Cabello accepted the award from presenter Bea Miller, a fellow alum of FOX’s “The X-Factor.”
Other early highlights included an appearance by the “Descendants 2” cast, performances by Hailee Steinfeld and Kelsea Ballerini, and a “Moana” medley by Jordan Fisher, Auli’i Cravalho and Alessia Cara.
