“Slow Hands” Will Be Niall Horan’s Next Single (Update)

We may know the name of Niall Horan’s second solo single.

Update 2: Niall Horan confirms that his new single “Slow Hands” will arrive on May 4.

Update: Earlier Friday, rumors emerged suggesting that a song called “Slow Hands” would be released as Niall Horan’s next single.

Attempting to verify the rumors, some fans noticed that Chicago B96 programmer Erik Bradley called the song a “hot pick” as part of the AllAccess/Mediabase survey.

The pick was quickly removed from the AllAccess site.

At press time, it is unclear whether the pick was removed because “Slow Hands” is not the next single or because the song title was not supposed to be revealed before Horan or Capitol made an official announcement.

Headline Planet will provide updates as they become available.

As noted on Headline Planet’s Twitter, industry rumors suggest Niall Horan will be releasing a song called “Slow Hands” as his next single.

Neither Horan nor label Capitol Records has confirmed the news, but a notable pop radio programmer has already expressed excitement for the song.

Reporting on behalf of Chicago’s B96, APD/MD Erik Bradley calls the song a “hot pick” in the latest AllAccess/Mediabase survey.

Bradley also offered the “hot pick” label to Hailee Steinfeld’s “Most Girls” and DJ Khaled’s “I’m The One (featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper and Lil Wayne).”

Whether “Slow Hands” or a different song, Horan’s next single will be the follow-up to his 2016 solo debut “This Town.”

The song reached the Top 5 at hot adult contemporary and Top 15 at pop radio.
