Kings Of Leon, Incubus, Future, Alison Krauss, alt-J Performing On “Jimmy Kimmel Live”

ABC confirms musical guests for the May 1-5 string of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” episodes.

Update: Due to the recent birth of his son Billy, Jimmy Kimmel will be taking the remainder of this week off.

His show, however, will go on. ABC confirms that original installments of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will air on May 2, 3, 4 and 5. Each will feature a guest host.

ABC revealed the guest hosts — and some lineup changes — in a Tuesday press release. The new lineups are as follows:

Tuesday, May 2
Host: Actor Will Arnett
Guests: Maya Rudolph and Ben McKenzie
Musical guest: Incubus

Wednesday, May 3
Host: Actor Anthony Anderson
Guest: George Lopez
Musical guest: Future

Thursday, May 4
Host: Actress Kristen Bell
Guest: Charlie Hunnam and Adam Scott
Musical guest: Alison Krauss

Friday, May 5

=====

After originally advertising new episodes, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” ended up airing re-runs each night this past week.

Assuming plans do not change again, the ABC talk show will air five new installments this coming week.

Each will feature a musical guest.

According to official ABC listings, Kings Of Leon will perform on the May 1 broadcast. Dr. Oz is scheduled as an interview guest on that episode.

Incubus will play the May 2 episode. Will Arnett and “Gong Show” host “Tom Maitland” will also appear on the episode.

Alison Krauss will take the stage on May 3; Anthony Anderson is confirmed as an interview guest.

Future will perform on a May 4 broadcast that also includes Kristen Bell and Charlie Hunnam.

The Friday, May 5 broadcast will close with a performance by alt-J. David Spade is listed as a musical guest.

It is worth noting that Kings Of Leon and Incubus were originally scheduled for episodes last week (prior to the scheduling change). Lorde was also advertised as a musical guest last week, but ABC has yet to confirm if and when her appearance will end up taking place.
