As her new song “Bon Appetit (featuring Migos)” enters the market, good news emerges regarding Katy Perry’s previous single.

According to Capitol Records, “Chained To The Rhythm (featuring Skip Marley)” recently earned a platinum certification in the United States.

The certification confirms at least 1 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Chained To The Rhythm” peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
