Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, Hey Violet Reach Pop Radio’s Top 50

“Despacito,” “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” and “Break My Heart” officially enter the Top 50 at pop radio.

DNCE’s “Kissing Strangers (featuring Nicki Minaj)” (#36, +27) and Lady Gaga’s “The Cure” (#37, new) represent the highest-ranking additions to the Top 50 at pop radio.

They are not this week’s only additions.

Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito (featuring Justin Bieber),” Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” and Hey Violet’s Break My Heart” also enter that region.

Played 571 times during the April 16-22 tracking week (+413), “Despacito” ranks as the Mediabase pop panel’s #47 song. It was #67 last week*.

“There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” which did not debut until the fifth day of the tracking period, earns #49. It received 520 tracking period plays.

Up four places, “Break My Heart” earns #50. It received 510 spins, besting last week’s count by 148.

*Editor’s Note: For chart purposes, Mediabase treats the original “Despacito” and the Justin Bieber remix as the same song.
