Ratings: “Scandal” Holds In Demo, Falls In Viewership; “The Catch” Down In Both

“Scandal” matched last week’s demo rating but slipped in viewership. “The Catch” set new lows in both columns.

Update: The viewership average for Thursday’s “Scandal” received an upward adjustment in the finals.

Though slight, the adjustment was enough to prevent a series low distinction.

According to national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s episode drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 5.11 million overall viewers. The standing series viewership low is 5.10 million.

Last week’s “Scandal” drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and 5.26 million viewers.

“Scandal” led into “The Catch,” which set lows in both columns.

The episode drew a 0.6 rating and 2.98 million overall viewers; the series low numbers trail the 0.7 rating and 3.10 million viewer mark drawn last week.

Despite airing out of a low-rated “Scandal” re-run rather than an original episode of usual lead-in “Grey’s Anatomy,” Thursday’s new “Scandal” held steady in the adults 18-49 demographic.

It did, however, fall to a series low in overall viewership (pending adjustments in the finals).

10PM drama “The Catch” set new lows in both columns.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s “Scandal” drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 5.05 million overall viewers.

Last week’s episode drew a 1.3 and 5.26 million.

“Scandal” had previously gone as low as a 1.2 in the demo, but it had never fallen below 5.10 million in overall viewership.

Thursday’s “The Catch” drew a 0.6 in the demo and 3.02 million in overall viewership. The series low numbers trail the 0.7 and 3.10 million viewer mark drawn last week.
