DNCE & Nicki Minaj’s “Kissing Strangers” Receiving Pop Radio Airplay In New York, San Francisco, More

DNCE’s “Kissing Strangers (featuring Nicki Minaj)” arrived late Thursday night, and many pop radio stations offered immediate airplay.

According to Mediabase, New York’s 92.3 AMP had played “Kissing Strangers” 18 times by the end of Friday.

San Francisco’s 99.7 NOW offered a nearly as impressive 17 spins, while Las Vegas’ 98.5 KLUC and Portsmouth’s Z107 respectively played the song 16 and 11 times.

Other notable early supporters include San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 (8 plays through Friday), Buffalo’s Kiss 98.5 (5 plays), New York’s Z100 (4 plays) and Sacramento’s 106.5 The End (4 plays). Many other stations played the song once, twice or thrice.

“Kissing Strangers” officially impacts pop radio on April 18. Label Republic Records is branding the single as the follow-up to DNCE’s breakthrough “Cake By The Ocean,” although the band’s last official radio single was technically “Body Moves.”
