Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” remains a dominant #1 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart.

Played ~7,615 times during the April 2-8 tracking week, “Shape Of You” tops the chart for a seventh straight week.

This week’s spin count tops last week’s mark by 117 plays. It meanwhile tops that of the #2 song by nearly 2300.

Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy,” which rises three places to become that #2 song, garnered ~5,330 tracking period plays (+303).

ZAYN & Taylor Swift’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” slips one spot to #3 with ~5,228 (-512), while Alessia Cara’s “Scars To Your Beautiful” drops a spot to #4 with ~5,047 (-144).

Also down one place, Adele’s “Water Under The Bridge” takes #5 with ~5,027 (-100).
