Ratings: “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal” Fall To New Lows; “The Catch” Ties Low (Update)

Update: The final Thursday ratings report has been released, and it confirms that “Scandal” did not, in fact, tie a series low.

It actually set new lows in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

According to national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s “Scandal” drew a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 5.10 million overall viewers. The numbers, which trail the 1.5 rating and 5.57 million viewer figure drawn last week, rank as series lows.

Lead-in “Grey’s Anatomy” drew a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 7.23 million overall viewers this week. The numbers trail the 2.0 rating and 7.62 million viewer mark drawn last week.

The demo rating ranks as a series low.

“The Catch” closed ABC’s night with a 0.7 rating and 3.56 million viewers. Last week’s episode drew a stronger 0.8 demo rating but a lesser viewership average of 3.40 million.

This week’s demo rating ties a series low.

Based on preliminary data, ABC’s three current “TGIT” series set or tied adults 18-49 lows this week.

“Grey’s Anatomy” fell to a new low in the demo, while “Scandal” and “The Catch” tied their series lows.

“Grey’s” and “Scandal” also endured week-to-week declines in live+same-day viewership.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s “Grey’s” drew a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 7.20 million overall viewers. Last week’s episode drew a 2.0 and 7.62 million viewers.

The 1.7 rating registers as a new low for “Grey’s.” The viewership figure is a low for the season but not the series.

“Scandal” followed with a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and 5.53 million viewers. Last week’s episode drew a 1.5 and 5.57 million.

The 1.3 demo rating ties the low that was set earlier this season.

10PM series “The Catch” delivered a 0.7 rating and 3.67 million viewers this week; last week’s broadcast posted a 0.8 and 3.40 million.

The 0.7 rating ties the low that was established this season.
