Ratings: FOX’s “Prison Break” Premiere Wins Timeslot

It may not have been a ratings blockbuster, but the premiere of FOX’s revived “Prison Break” won its timeslot in the key adults 18-49 demographic.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s “Prison Break” drew a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 3.79 million overall viewers.

Its overall viewership paled in comparison to the 10.98 million drawn by CBS’ 9PM drama “The Bull,” but its adults 18-49 rating beat that show’s 1.3.

When it comes to the A18-49 demo, “Prison Break” tied “NCIS” for second place among all Tuesday night shows. Only NBC’s “The Voice” drew a stronger demo rating (1.9).

“Prison Break,” it should be noted, did not receive much help from its lead-in. 8:30PM comedy “The Mick” drew a modest 0.8 adults 18-49 rating and 2.11 million viewers in the directly supportive slot.

Earlier in the night, the season (or series?) finale of “New Girl” drew a 0.9 rating and 2.01 million viewers.
