When she took the stage at Sunday’s ACM Awards ceremony, Miranda Lambert’s “Tin Man” was distantly outside the Top 100 on the US iTunes single sales chart.
Following her well-received performance, it blasted into the chart’s upper reaches.
As of 4:10PM ET Monday, it is #2 on the all-genre chart. Only Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.” is currently selling at a faster pace.
“Tin Man” is one of three ACM Awards-related songs in the Top 5. Keith Urban’s “The Fighter (featuring Carrie Underwood)” is #3, while Sam Hunt’s “Body Like A Back Road” is #4.
An additional three ACM songs — Tim McGraw & Faith Hill’s #6 “Speak To A Girl,” Lady Antebellum’s #7 “You Look Good,” and Thomas Rhett’s #88 “Craving You (featuring Maren Morris)” — hold Top 10 positions.
— Lambert is also enjoying post-ACM Awards success on the iTunes album sales chart. Her “The Weight Of These Wings,” which won for Album Of The Year, is up to #1 on the all-genre listing.
