Mastodon’s “Emperor Of Sand,” MercyMe’s “Lifer” Enter Top 5 On US iTunes Sales Chart

While none of this week’s new album releases has yet dethroned Drake’s “More Life,” two have ventured into the Top 5 on the US iTunes sales chart.

As of press time at 2:20AM ET Friday morning, Mastodon’s “Emperor Of Sand” is up to #2 on the listing. MercyMe’s new “Lifer” is #4.

The new releases are joined in the Top 5 by three holdover releases: Drake’s “More Life” at #1, Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” at #3, and “Beauty And The Beast” at #5.

Trey Songz’ “Tremaine The Album” (#6), Kodak Black’s new “Painting Pictures” (#7), Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” (#8), Jamiroquai’s new “Automaton” (#9), and Trade Adkins’ new “Something’s Going On” (#10) form the balance of the Top 10.
