Kygo & Selena Gomez’ “It Ain’t Me” Scoring Well With Pop Radio Listeners

Based on the latest Mediabase/Critical Mass Media callout report, Kygo x Selena Gomez’ “It Ain’t Me” is garnering a favorable reaction from the pop radio audience.

The report, which is based on a survey of pop listeners, confirms that “It Ain’t Me” is receiving a positive reaction from 63.1% of listeners, a negative reaction from 13.7% of listeners, and a “net positive” reaction from 49.4%.

Of the 22 songs measured in this week’s panel, “It Ain’t Me” is #7 for positive, #2 for negative (second-lowest), and #3 for “net positive.”

Only Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” and James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go” have better net positive scores.

The report additionally notes that 17.6% assigned a “favorite” rating. While not a spectacular score (and thus a sign that the masses do not necessarily love “It Ain’t Me”), it is above the median: “It Ain’t Me” ranks #10/22 for “favorite.”

“It Ain’t Me” is approaching the Top 10 on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.
