Given the fact that more than twenty Drake tracks debuted on this week’s Hot 100, there were not many opportunities for other songs to make big moves.
Two songs that did make notable moves include Zedd & Alessia Cara’s “Stay” and Post Malone’s “Congratulations (featuring Quavo).”
The former rises six places to a new peak of #21. The latter climbs two places to a new peak of #30.
In conjunction with its Hot 100 gain, “Stay” rises to #8 on Digital Song Sales (and represents the biggest digital sales gainer) and #36 on Radio Songs. Surely affected by the plethora of new Drake songs, it nonetheless falls to #34 on Streaming Songs.
“Congratulations” re-enters Digital Song Sales at #49 but falls to #13 on Streaming Songs (again, more due to the Drake tracks than a loss in activity).
