The climb continues for Lady Gaga’s “Million Reasons,” which is poised to enter the Top 10 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart.
“Million Reasons” received 2,905 spins during the first five days of the March 19-25 tracking week. The count, which best last week’s mark by a healthy 18.3%, positions “Million Reasons” at #9 on Mediabase’s building chart.
While “Million Reasons” does not have a huge advantage over Rihanna’s building #10 “Love On The Brain” (2,893 spins, +8.5%), it has a clear edge in momentum. It should remain ahead through the close of tracking.
But even it falls below “Love On The Brain,” it is in no danger of falling out of the Top 10. There are no additional imminent threats from below.
Recently certified platinum in the US, “Million Reasons” is also charting prominently at pop radio. It has thus far gone as high as #15.
