Syfy Cancels Drama “Incorporated” After One Season

While the changing television landscape has allowed some modest live+same-day ratings performers to survive on cable, not all series are so lucky.

“Incorporated” is one such unlucky show. Syfy has officially canceled the drama after a single season, which concluded in late January.

Deadline first reported the news.

Syfy was an underwhelming live+same-day ratings performer — especially given its early hype and big name lineage — and did not receive enough of a DVR lift to radically change its standing. A weekly post-“Shooter” encore aired weekly on sister network USA, but it did not seem to drive any new viewers to the initial Syfy telecast.

There does not seem to be much hope of a lifeline from another network; co-star Dennis Haysbert, meanwhile, has already booked a role in NBC’s “Reverie” pilot.
