Calvin Harris’ “Slide” Received First Day Airplay From Numerous Pop & Rhythmic Stations

Calvin Harris’ “Slide (featuring Frank Ocean & Migos)” received opening day airplay from a handful of pop and rhythmic stations.

According to Mediabase, 18 pop stations played “Slide” at least three times Friday (a great many more played the song two or fewer times). Eight rhythmic stations provided three or more opening day spins.

The leading opening day pop supporters included Orlando’s 101.9 AMP (21 plays), Miami’s Power 96 (16 plays), San Francisco’s 99.7 NOW (12 plays), San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 (11 plays), Boston’s 103.3 AMP (10 plays), and San Diego’s ENERGY 103.7 (10 plays).

Top first day rhythmic supporters included Salt Lake City’s U92 (11 plays), Portland, Maine’s Hot 104.7 (10 plays), Boston’s JAM’N 94.5 (6 plays), San Jose’s Hot 105.7 (6 plays), Ft. Myers’ 105.5 The Beat (5 plays), and Hartford’s Hot 93.7 (5 plays).

“Slide” was made available for immediate airplay Friday; the first adds will be reported by Tuesday evening.
