Maroon 5’s “Cold” Ranks As Hot AC Radio’s Most Added Song

Maroon 5’s new “Cold” predictably takes the top spot on this week’s hot adult contemporary radio add board.

The new single was added by a whopping 64 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations in conjunction with this week’s official impact. The count more than doubles that of the next-most added song.

Linkin Park’s “Heavy (featuring kiiara),” that song, was added by 30 Hot AC stations this week.

Katy Perry’s “Chained To The Rhythm (featuring Skip Marley),” which topped last week’s add board, takes third this week. It won support from another 12 stations.

Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” takes fourth with 11 adds, while Julia Michaels’ “Issues” and Marian Hill’s “Down” tie for fifth with 7 pickups each.

This week’s other notable Hot AC options: Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye (featuring Sean Paul & Anne-Marie)” (6 adds, 6th-most, tie), Ocean Park Standoff’s “Good News” (6 adds, 6th-most, tie), Imagine Dragons’ “Believer” (5 adds, 8th-most, tie), James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go” (5 adds, 8th-most, tie), JP Cooper’s “September Song” (5 adds, 8th-most, tie), and The Chainsmokers’ “Paris” (5 adds, 8th-most, tie).
