Update 2: Listed as Kygo x Selena Gomez, the new “It Ain’t Me Single” will be made available (on digital providers and to radio) by midnight EST/9PM PST Wednesday night.
Its official pop radio impact date is February 28, but it will almost certainly receive a notable amount of airplay before then.

Update: Talk that “It Ain’t Me” would be formally positioned as a Selena Gomez single may have been incorrect.
Details of the song were just released to radio programmers, and it was credited to Kygo x Selena Gomez. The key, of course, being that Kygo is listed first.
Both Ultra (Kygo) and Interscope (Selena Gomez) are identified as the supporting labels; at press time, it is unclear which, if either, will take the lead in promotion.
Details are still murky, but it now seems reasonable to consider that this may actually be a Kygo single on which Gomez has co-lead credit (as opposed to vice versa).

“Stars Dance,” Selena Gomez’ 2013 album, yield a pop radio #1 in “Come And Get It.”
“Revival,” her 2015 follow-up, produced three pop chart-toppers in “Good For You,” “Same Old Love,” and “Hands To Myself.”
Will her next chapter prove as successful when it comes to generating hits?
We’re about to get our first sense of the answer.
In a Monday afternoon Tweet, Gomez confirmed that “It Ain’t Me,” her collaboration with Kygo, arrives this Thursday. Further details, such as the specific release time and radio plans, were not available at press time.
While there is talk that Gomez and Kygo share lead credit on the track, all indications are that “It Ain’t Me” will represent an official Gomez single (similar to how Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha’s “In The Name Of Love” is officially a Martin Garrix single).
