Sam Hunt’s new single predictably received a warm welcome from country radio.
Picked up by 106 Mediabase-monitored country stations, “Body Like A Back Road” ranks as the format’s most added song.
Hunt’s tune was not, however, the only song to receive an enthusiastic reaction from country radio programmers. Zac Brown Band’s new “My Old Man,” the week’s second-most added song, landed at an impressive 72 stations.
Credited with 36 adds, Kane Brown’s “What Ifs (featuring Lauren Alaina)” registers as third-most added. Adam Craig’s “Just A Phase” takes fourth with 25 pickups, while Brett Young’s “In Case You Didn’t Know” earns fifth on the strength of 17 pickups.
This week’s other notable country options: Lady Antebellum’s “You Look Good” (14 adds, 6th-most, tie), Luke Combs’ “Hurricane” (14 adds, 6th-most, tie), Cole Swindell’s “Flatliner (featuring Dierks Bentley)” (13 adds, 8th-most), Chris Lane’s “For Her” (11 adds, 9th-most, tie), Easton Corbin’s “A Girl Like You” (11 adds, 9th-most, tie), and Rascal Flatts’ “Yours If You Want It” (11 adds, 9th-most, tie).
