Ratings: FOX’s “STAR” Rises Despite Reduced Lead-In Support

For the first time this season, a “STAR” episode posted a week-to-week gain in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Impressively, it achieved these gains despite receiving its smallest lead-in support yet.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “STAR” drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and 4.06 million total viewers. Last week’s episode drew a 1.2 rating and 3.79 million total viewers.

This week’s episode led out of “Showtime At The Apollo,” which drew a modest 0.8 adults 18-49 rating and 3.20 million total viewers. The previous episode followed the higher-rated “Lethal Weapon” (1.4, 6.28 million).

“STAR” tied CBS’ “Criminal Minds” and “Hunted” for first place in adults 18-49 Wednesday night.
