Viola Davis, Kerry Washington Scheduled For “Good Morning America” Appearances

ABC’s “Thank God It’s Thursday” lineup returns this week, and stars from the three series will make promotional appearances on the network’s “Good Morning America.”

Per ABC listings, “How To Get Away With Murder” star Viola Davis will appear on the January 23 “GMA.”

“Scandal” lead Kerry Washington will visit “Good Morning America” on January 25, while Jessica Capshaw will talk “Grey’s Anatomy” on the January 26 episode.

Originally set for January 19, the return of “TGIT” was pushed to the 26th to accommodate inauguration coverage.

Monday, January 23 – Actress Viola Davis (“How to Get Away with Murder”); nutritionist and author Dr. Kellyann (“Bone Broth Cookbook”)

Tuesday, January 24 – The Oscar nominations announced: all the reaction, analysis and interviews with a few of the nominees; DJ Irie

Wednesday, January 25 – Actress Kerry Washington (“Scandal”); a performance by The Piano Guys

Thursday, January 26 – Actor Laurence Fishburne (BET’s “Madiba”); actress Jessica Capshaw (“Grey’s Anatomy”); “Deals and Steals” with contributor Tory Johnson

Friday, January 27 – Actor and comedian Ricky Gervais (“Life on the Road”); chef and television personality Sandra Lee; a performance by the hit band Train
