Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” Debuts At #1 On UK Singles Chart; “Castle On The Hill” #2

Making good on the mid-week projections, the first releases from Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” claim the top two spots on the Official UK Singles chart.

“Shape Of You” flies in at #1, while “Castle On The Hill” grabs #2.

“Shape Of You” seizes the throne from Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye (featuring Sean Paul & Anne-Marie),” which falls to #4 after a lengthy reign.

Down one place, Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Human” takes #3 on the chart. Little Mix’s “Touch” drops one spot to #5.

Other notables inside the Top 40:
— JP Cooper’s “September Song” rises nine spots to #7.
— Starley’s “Call On Me” climbs eighteen places to #8.
— Jax Jones & Raye’s “You Don’t Know Me” ascends twenty-four positions to #9.
— Machine Gun Kelly x Camila Cabello’s “Bad Things” rockets twenty-nine spots to #23.
— Sean Paul’s “No Lie (featuring Dua Lipa)” climbs sixteen places to #28.
— Robin Schulz, David Guetta & Cheat Codes’ “Shed A Light” advances sixteen spots to #33.
— Snakehips & M0’s “Don’t Leave” debuts at #33.
